Regional Managing Director level (cash product) for a top tier international USA Bank
Company background:
Our client is one of top tier world's largest financial institutions with headquarter is in USA, including investment banking, corporate banking, commercial banking, private banking, asset management, private equity, securities, etc., which serving large corporations and individual consumers globally and locally with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.
They serve clients in more than 150 countries and have relationships with 99 percent of the U.S Fortune 500 companies and 83 percent of the Fortune Global 500. For their investment banking and corporate banking excellent business development in global and Asia market, they have important business investment in China market since last decade a period of 20 years, now for excellent business expanding in China, hereby looking for a Regional Head of Cash Product who bases in Shanghai and needs look after China and Taiwan market.
Position: Regional Head of Cash Product (Managing Director)
Business Unit: Global Transaction Banking
Location: Shanghai
Report to: Head of GTS China (bases in Shanghai) and Head of Product Asia-pacific (bases in Hong Kong)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product management strategy for existing and new Global Treasury Products and Solutions in China market;
- Serve as product capabilities expert and technical product expert for China. Manage product platforms through successful partnerships with sales, delivery, and support business partners to drive growth and improvements in product offerings;
- Maintain overall product line knowledge, and stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes (from the government, clearing houses and other associations) and competitive offerings;
-Advance the pipeline and manage Trade and Treasury Management specific programs;
- Prioritize and implement deals and programs that are going to drive revenue;
- Manage segment specific launch of new products or re-packaged existing products;
- Create product ideas specific to China and co-ordinate with innovation to progress product offerings including pricing capabilities;
- Co-ordinate with Regional and Global Product Management teams to monitor the health or exiting products and with Global Innovation and Development teams for new products;
- Provide segment solutions content for training materials and to provide sales with tools to support their revenue growth goals;
- Ensure Segment specific product launches are successful;
- Drive, execute and maintain our Partner Bank relationships in China.
Requirements:
- Fluent oral communication skills in English and Mandarin are must;
- 20 years or above Trade and Treasury Management product especially cash product experience working for either a reputable global or local bank;
- Structured and organized with a track record in delivering strategic projects which required liaison with individuals at different levels within the organization;
- Present a professional image and attitude at all times;
- Proven strategic and analytical abilities;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin, oversea Chinese preferred, especially Asia-pacific area including but not limited to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Tokyo.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, team management skills are a plus.
