Our client is a top-tier multi-national financial institution. They are currently seeking an Equity Analytics Data Content Services Analyst to join their Data & Content Services team in Beijing.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
In this role, candidate will work closely with other team members and business units to produce and deliver high quality value-added risk content, together with other financial data, to our customers. Understanding clients’ needs and uses of data and analytical tools in their investment processes is essential. This role is best suited for a results-driven, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
As an Equity Analytics Associate, you will
Be an integral link to the overall success of the Company's products
Periodically update and conduct extensive quality assurance to our financial databases
Perform analysis on the valuation of tradable assets
Provide our clients with the financial market data they use to manage risk
Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with emphasis on quality and accuracy
Assist our Sales and Client Relations Group in resolving client inquiries related to our content
Work closely with our global data update teams and global data vendors
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated strong interest in the Capital Markets, data, and risk management
Interest and experience in process operations, process management and quality assurance
2 years of professional work experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or equivalent
Good understanding of markets, finance, financial statements, and corporate events
Ability to communicate and work effectively in a result oriented, team-driven organization
Commitment to improving the business and customer experience
Ability to work flexible and extended hours
Strong Excel skills and understanding of SQL, SAS, VBA Linux/UNIX a plus
Knowledge of market data vendors, e.g. Reuters a plus
Fluency in English required
