Project Controller - Saudi Arabia-00037460
Description
The Project Controller provides financial governance and support to financial and operational management in order to foster the development, maintenance and execution of competitive, high-quality product and services contracts. CU Saudi Arabia Project Controller reports to the Head of Project Control RMEA. The role will work closely with Business Control, Operations, and other key stakeholders within the region to ensure compliance to Ericsson Project Governance process, to validate the quality of financial data in the systems and support the region in effective financial project management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Controller is responsible to carry out financial governance and controls in order to secure that contract operational performance is correctly reflected according to accounting directives and financial performance is understood by the operational organization to reflect actual performance. This includes the following responsibilities:
Provide advice in order to secure correct contract set-up
Review and analyze key contract performance
Ensure contract governance adherence
Report on Loss and Zero Revenue contracts and aged Early Starts
Control the contract Balance Sheet items and planned cost quality
Validate contract margin accuracy
Support with financial education to key stakeholders
Support & provide project advice on the ONE implementation in Sudan
Provide Regional support within peer group & advisory support to RMEA CU's as required
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
3-5 years experience from similar position at MU/BU/GF or relevant equivalent experience in an external company
High level of Business Information system (BW) competence
High level of competence within Ericsson contract accounting
Understanding of ONE contract related system scenarios
High level business understanding
Good Ericsson Knowledge
Solid understanding of the Ericsson Business process
Fluent in English
