Position Description: Saudi Aramco are seeking experienced Marketing Consultant who has broad knowledge in market research and intelligence, forecasting, market surveys, strategic business and operational planning and performance analysis relating to supply and distribution, and preferably familiar with refined petroleum products and oil/energy market.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or Engineering. An MBA will be an advantage. 10-15 years progressive, relevant experience in marketing, market research, sales analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and/or other business/analytics experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Demand Forecast & Market Research Group to optimize accurate forecasts in the domestic consumption of liquid petroleum products for use as fuel or feedstock. Diagnose root causes of forecast errors and review forecast methodologies to increase forecast accuracy and enhance forecast updates. Correlate and analyze data abnormalities with market and country key economic indicators, make recommendations with potential impact, and ensure the best possible forecast with insight into future market conditions. Develop best practices for market intelligence and liaising with Corporate Planning teams in the development and execution of corporate initiatives. Utilize market studies and forecasting models to support forecasting and give key recommendations with analysis. Develop supply/demand balances based on current and future energy outlook and demand. Conduct detailed domestic market surveys to develop a comprehensive database of customers using petroleum products for both fuel and feedstock. Review daily product movement and sales reports to review data, analyze problems in the distribution and marketing system, and provide recommendations to solve them. Prepare and present plans, analysis, interpretations and recommendations to management and other concerned departments on a broad range of issues related to demand forecasting and market research within the domestic market. Provide input to the company Business Plan which relates to the local economic and business environment and to the overall supply/demand outlook in the domestic market.
