Qualifications:
Certified in dental assisting through a recognized professional organization
Have four (4) years of dental related experience.
Should not have been away from clinical practice for more than 2 years. If already working in KSA, must be licensed by the MOH.
Oral/written English communication will be required to converse with patients, and to complete paperwork, such as charts. Colloquial Arabic desirable.
Digital dexterity and eye coordination to carry out the required tasks are mandatory.
Required to learn to recognize and to know the proper nomenclature of dental instruments.
Must possess a professional manner suitable for patient contact and management of situations that may arise within the treatment operatories.
Task Description:
Responsible for providing assistance to a dentist engaged in diagnostic, operative or preventive procedures during the examination and treatment of patients.
Works involves assisting in all phases of clinical procedures from general practice to specialty areas, at the same time maintaining sterile equipment, instruments, operatory area cleaning tasks, and other tasks of increasing complexity as the incumbent gains experience.
