Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To manage the local operational aspects arising from a portfolio of demand deposit accounts for both targeted Saudi Arabian and multinational companies. Saudi Arabia has strict regulations governing the flow of information outside it's borders and in order to comply with these regulations JPMC Riyadh branch staff will be responsible for all aspects of payment processing that contains customer information.
KEY OUTPUTS:
- Manage the repair customer's automated payment instructions to correct formatting errors or omissions.
- Control and input customer's and internal departments manual instructions received by fax, letter or cheque
- Manage start of day and end of day control process for payment processing system.
- Investigate any enquiries from the customer received via Customer Service
- Investigate any reconciliation breaks and pass resolving entries where necessary
COMPLEXITY AND CREATIVITY:
The product portfolio comprises of both conventional and Islamic products where customers will be able to hold local and foreign currency accounts and send instructions through the corporate internet payment and reporting channel. The incumbent is expected to have a good knowledge of domestic and international corporate cash management disciplines and the ability to manage a varied workflow is necessary to ensure timely processing and eliminate the possibility of operational errors.
JUDGEMENT AND DECISIONS:
The incumbent has responsibility for the management of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring that all necessary tasks are actioned on a timely basis. The incumbent must be aware of the inherent risk in the volume and value of payments undertaken, and take the required steps to ensure compliance with stated procedures.
Qualifications
- High degree of numeracy and aptitude for analytical examination of problems; attention to detail being paramount
- Minimum 2 years experience of all types of corporate current accounts including domestic, cross border and foreign currency transfers
- Communicate timely and accurately in written and oral form
- Temenos T24 system knowledge is an advantage
