Engineering Manager

Our client is an international provider of oil and gas and marine consultancy services and they are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to head up their engineering operations in their Aberdeen offices.
Key aspects of the role will include
Providing project management and marine expertise on an array of exciting projects for oil majors in the North sea including the load out, transportation and installation of offshore structures
Managing and providing mentorship and support to a team of Naval Architects and Engineers
Conducting technical analysis with an emphasis on mooring analyses
Partaking and heading up litigation and expert witness cases
Liaising with clients face to face and on site/offshore to ensure projects are completed to specification and standard
Implementing new and better practices to further improve and grow the team
To be successful in the role, you will be:
Degree qualified in Naval Architecture/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification
Experienced in project and team management
Experience in Marine Warranty including the load out, transportation and installation of offshore projects
A problem solver who pays a high attention to detail and possesses excellent numerical and report writing skills
