Senior Advisor – Acquisition & Logistics (Military Program Analyst III)

JOB DESCRIPTION
CONTINGENT UPON APPROVED FUNDING AND SELECTION: Seeking a former or retired senior military officer to serve in an advise and assist capacity to senior Saudi Arabian military officers for one year or more. Senior advisor will work closely with high-ranking Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) officers in a consulting type of relationship, assisting them in developing and implementing strategies and detailed plans for the acquisition and sustainment of military supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, comfortable in working with senior military and civilian officials, and capable of developing solutions to problems that encompass best practices from the business, military logistics, and management domains.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree (preferred) in related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of 20 years work related experience or 13 years recent experience specifically in the military systems acquisition process. Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Prior military acquisition experience is a must; prior service in the Middle East is preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
