Marine Engineer/Project Engineer

Our client is a leading, international oil and gas and marine consultancy who is looking for an experienced Marine Engineer/Project Engineer to be based in their clients office on the outskirts of London.
You will contribute by liaising between the client and consultancy on a large scale DP barge conversion project.
You will spend your time based out of the client’s office and will upon occasion be based in the consultants office in central London.
Working as a Project Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
Acting as the interface between the consultancies design team and the clients project team on a range of projects including a major offshore conversion project.
Act as the representative for the consultancy within the client’s office by running and contributing to specific projects.
Defining and agreeing project scopes and deliverables for the client.
Taking commercial responsibility by liaising with the consultancies design team and client ensuring scopes are as agreed and to specification.
Provide marine expertise to the client and assist in providing the technical output around the projects
You will have the ability to lead and manage projects and be experienced in delivering these successfully and to deadlines and specifications. To be considered for the role you will be:
A Chief Engineer and hold your first class ticket CoC1 unlimited
OR
Be a degree qualified Marine Engineer or have relevant experience
Experienced in leading/project managing offshore projects
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
