INSPECTION ENGINEERS - SAUDI ($100/150K) - in addition there are uplifts, COL allowances, etc., etc. and the worlds best savings/retirement program.
The world's largest crude oil producing and exporting company and ranks within the top tier of natural gas producers. With crude oil reserves of 260 billion barrels, or about one quarter of the world's total, the company manages a worldwide petroleum enterprise with operations in exploration, production, refining and distribution. The Inspection Department is charged with the corporate responsibility for Inspection of materials and equipment purchased, and equipment and facilities constructed for Saudi Aramco. These incumbents will be assigned to the Inspection Department's Southern Area Projects Division where they will have frequent contacts with operating Division and Unit Heads to ascertain problems, define scope of projects, and develop solutions. There will be occasional contact with Managers and infrequent contact with Executive Management in responding to inquiries or presenting conclusions of their research. In addition, there will be frequent contacts with suppliers of data and information such as estimating engineers, construction engineers, accountants, programmers, etc.
Field Inspection Supervisor. Must have a sound knowledge of basic corrosion mechanisms, materials of equipment construction, welding and non destructive testing. Have a working knowledge of codes e.g. ASME Sect-1, V, VII and IX, B31.3 & B31.4; API-510, API 570, API-650, API-653, API-1104 and petrochemical industrial engineering standards and procedures. AWS Certified Welding Inspector and/or NACE Certified Coating Inspector. Must be proficient in technical and inspection report writing.
NDT Inspection Engineer. Must have nine (9) years experience, preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as an expert in this field. Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S. and Aramco's Codes, Standards and Specifications. The candidates should possess the abilities of having more than 10 years of experience in one of the NDT fields (UT, RT, ET, etc.). Candidates must be able to conduct NDT related research and development and demonstrate ability to present professional papers at international conferences.
Electrical Inspection Engineer. Must have nine (9) years experience, preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as an expert. Electrical incumbent must be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) and IEEE or equivalent. Prefer candidates to possess IRCA certification.
RBI Specialist. Education: B.S. Engineering. M.S. or PhD in Engineering or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration is highly desirable. Must have ten (10) years of professional experience, including years as an engineer in responsible charge of technical work in incumbent's field of specialty. The Engineering Specialist incumbent will be required to have:
Solid experience in development and implementation of methods, programs and systems related to inspection of plant and equipment including Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and plant integrity assessments
Effective experience in development and implementation of integrated plant integrity management systems and reliability programs and such as Risk & Reliability Management (RRM)
Solid experience in process plants inspection activities including major turnarounds and shutdowns
Experience in development and implementation of quality assurance programs & tools such as 6-Sigma5. Valid API certifications such as API 510, 570 & 653 6. Active participation in international professional societies or committees related to inspection such as API inspection subcommittee, ASNT, ASME, etc.
Senior Inspection Engineer. B.S. in Engineering. Five years of professional experience, preferably in the oil or similar process industry, including at least two (2) years as Saudi Aramco Inspector Engineering or four (4) years of direct inspection experience. Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, US Codes. Must possess the following certifications:
API 570or API510 or API 563 Certification
NFPA 70 Certification
NCET level II Certification
RTFI Level II Certification
ANSI A17.1-17.2 Certification
NACE CPII Certification
NIT, PT, UTTG Level II
WS/CWI Certification

NACE Corrosion Technologist Certification. IAEI- CEI Master Electrical Inspector certification.
