HealthCare Subject Matter Expert
Contract
My client is seeking a HealthCare Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work within their
Technology Consulting Business Unit, performing Consultancy services and advice and to be a subject matter expert on HealthCare internally.
Job Description:
?? Provide subject matter experience in the following areas
o Health Care Delivery
o Healthcare Information Standards
?? Participate in the stakeholders meetings to understand the As‐Is business and data
architecture and help define the To‐Be business architecture of the system.
?? Use his domain experience to facilitate agreement between the various involved parties and
gain consensus (Mainly, with the healthcare providers).
?? Align and quality assure the project deliverables with international and Saudi healthcare
standards (business, privacy and information)
?? Participate in data architecture and strategy for health insurance data model and rollout for
Saudi Health Insurance Bus
Requirements:
?? Comprehensive understanding of health insurance business processes at healthcare
providers (like e‐Claims, payment services…etc.).
?? Understanding of regulations and compliance requirements from the healthcare provider
side (such as privacy of patients’ records…etc.)
?? Understanding of the data standards related to healthcare business (example ICD‐10, CPT,
HL7, etc.).
?? International experience in the field of healthcare needed (Canadian or Australian
experience. The client is adopting the Canadian health insurance model).
?? Understanding of the challenges facing healthcare providers in terms of process
improvement and integration with internal systems.
?? At least 12 years of experience in the field of healthcare.
The position can be offered as a 1 year contract or as a permanent contract. It is based in Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia (TAX FREE salary) and is to be employed asap.
