Job Description

TS Technology Riyadh is part of the new JPMorgan franchise in Saudi Arabia. It offers an exciting opportunity to be a pioneering member of this new franchise. The opening is part of a small Technology team providing support and services to the Business and hence a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of Technology Operations and business support.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and liase with operations, 3rd level support and vendor to rectify any issues and problems encountered during end of day (EOD), beginning of day (BOD) and normal daily operations
Provide effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue
Log tickets with helpdesk on issues encountered and track/monitor these to closure
Liaise and coordinate installation, testing and migration to production of new relases for the various systems; manage any issues encountered during testing and installation
Escalate issues in a timely manner to management
Deliver project and process documentation for small projects and ensure compliance with structured Project Delivery Framework
Setup new systems and applications, develop and document processes and procedures in line with local environment
Provide input and prepare operational and related MIS for management
Support and execute Technology operations tasks, including but not limited to execution of EOD, taking backups, and BOD
Interact and liaise with external systems' coordinators to provide input/feeds to the systems in Riyadhfor a successful EOD/BOD and normal operations
As part of the new build in Saudi Arabia, there will be a lot of opportunities to put in new systems and while doing so learn the business aspect of banking. In BAU mode, will have to ensure key processes and procedures are complied with - including the design, document and preparation of Business Contingency Planning. Will have to deal with vendors on delivery, installation and setup of systems and completion of related project management documents. The Business will also be hosting a number of Regulator (SAMA) provided, mission critical systems and this role will ensure that process and procedures are established to support trouble free operation of these systems. This will also entail building good working relationships with SAMA.

About GCB
The GCB (Global Corporate Bank) program is a new initiative to be managed jointly by TS and the IB. It will oversee a considerable branch expansion in EMEA, LATAM and Asia (18 branches). Reporting to the GCB Project Implementation Manager and as part of the as part of the wider GCB team, this individual will be responsible for the Release Management of all implementations of the model branch in EMEA & LATAM.

About TS Technology
TS International Technology is a global technology organization that is responsible for the systems processing for international Treasury Services branches in EMEA, Asia & LATAM. The team responsible for Low and High Value payments, DDA, and local clearing links for these branches as well as a number of global utilities, SWIFT and OFAC. The team is based in Bournemouth, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tampa and San Paulo.
Qualifications

Key Skills required
Awareness and basic technology know-how. Should have basic knowledge of PCs, servers, operating systems and databases
Problem solving and analytical skills
Be flexible and willing to function in different roles
Be willing to work in different shifts
Experience (Required)
At least 2 years of experience in technology or operations in a banking environment
Good understanding and experience on core banking systems and/or working knowledge of banking operations
Knowledge of Temenos T24 Core Banking System would be a major advantage
Experience (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of AIX/Linux operating systems would be preferable
Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase) would be preferable
Additional Information
Should be flexible to operate in shifts and weekends.
Saudi National or transferable work permit required
